Easy 5-Ingredient Chili
Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
15 ounces tomato sauce
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
1 (15 ounce) can chili beans, not drained
2 tablespoons chili powder, or to taste
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Directions
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes.
Stir in kidney beans, chili beans, and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil and stir in chili powder. Reduce heat to a simmer, and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Crockpot Italian Chicken
Ingredients
1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian dressing (such as Olive Garden℠ Signature Italian Dressing)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Directions
Stir Italian dressing and Parmesan cheese together in a bowl.
Place chicken in a slow cooker, and pour dressing mixture over chicken. Cover and cook on Low until chicken is tender, no longer pink in the center, and the juices run clear, about 8 hours.
Cheesy Hamburger Rice Casserole
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice
½ cup long grain white rice
¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Crumble the ground beef into a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until evenly browned. Drain off grease, and stir in the cream of mushroom soup, tomatoes, and uncooked rice. Cover, and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, until rice is cooked, about 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven’s broiler. When the rice is done cooking, transfer the contents of the skillet to a casserole dish. Cover with a layer of cheese.
Broil until the cheese is melted and toasty. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy!
